Our journey began in Vietnam, where we built a lean, high performing, fiercely agile digital agency from scratch. So successful, in fact, that Ogilvy acquired us within four years of us opening our doors.
Living inside both worlds was a revelation. We experienced the pitfalls firsthand – the slow, bureaucratic drag of big agencies and the strategic risks faced by smaller, underpowered teams.
And we grew tired of watching clients being forced to choose between them.
So we built EPIC IGNITER to be what we always wanted: your in-house incubator. We embed like co-founders, fusing deep enterprise-level strategy with the hands-on delivery needed to launch platforms and experiences that ignite and fuel real growth.

Julie Leitao
A data-loving strategist with an entrepreneur’s soul, Julie’s perspective was forged in two worlds: first at top-tier advertising giants, then building her own agency from the ground up. After her agency was acquired by Ogilvy, Julie’s strategic leadership helped transform it into Vietnam’s most acclaimed digital agency, winning consecutive ‘Agency of the Year’ awards. Today at EPIC IGNITER, she helps brands find the strategic confidence to make game-changing moves, focusing on the powerful link between winning customer experiences (CX) and thriving employee experiences (EX).
Alfred Leitao
Alfie co-founded the award-winning digital agency WHO? Digital, which was acquired by WPP in 2011. Leading the Vietnam team for over a decade, he was instrumental in building and scaling high-performing digital capabilities. With over 25 years of experience spanning client and agency roles, Alfie combines creative direction, system development, and senior project management. His on-the-ground digital expertise spans 12+ countries across Europe, the US, and APAC.
Trang Ngoc Nguyen
Trang brings over 20 years of finance and operational expertise within the agency world. As one of the founding team members of WHO? Digital, she wore many hats—including finance, HR, and operations, and played a pivotal role in the agency’s successful acquisition by Ogilvy. After gaining extensive senior leadership experience in large agencies, Trang has returned to join forces with Julie and Alfie to drive EPIC IGNITER’s next chapter of growth and success.
